This diverse 400-acre property sits on a well-maintained gravel road near Deerhead, Kansas. The property features two ponds, one of which was built in the mid 1990s and has been stocked with fish from Hartley's fish farm. Another pond site was staked along the south boundary but never developed. Approximately 80 acres of farm ground on the south part of the property attracts wildlife from the surrounding area. The wooded draws that run from all sides of the farm ground up to the ponds are perfect for the whitetail and turkey hunters. The rolling upland grass hills on the north side of the property provide excellent cattle grazing and upland bird habitat. There is an old home site on the property next to the road with a water well. In addition, the producing minerals will transfer with the surface as well as the lease for the radio tower. The opportunity to purchase a truly diversified property such as this Barber County tract does not come often. It has been in the family for well over a hundred years and Great Western Auction and Realty, LLC is honored to sell this property!
